Fly Tying
For all of us it started as a nice part of fly fishing - an adjunct that gave you a warm
feeling of satisfaction - now we make a living from that same warm feeling because we have to try every creation we produce - its mandatory!
We also have many field testers - they are professional anglers, ranging from Patagonia to Northern Europe, we ask for accurate results for each and every fly, good or bad.
That is how we grow and develop our range.
You will not find all of our range on these pages - just a taster of flies currently in production.
What can you expect from us? Professionalism of the highest order along with integrity that can become annoying to our competitors, attention to detail on a microscopic level, above all a tight team of people who will strive to produce something that is easily reproduced with minimum material waste.
If you are a retail or commercial client you will receive the same attention, we don't discriminate.
Season or Location
Anyone starting out fly fishing has our condolences, the sheer quantity of patterns colours and sizes of flies available is daunting indeed - what fly, which line, what depth? It makes our heads spin and we have almost 100 years fishing experience between us.
The good news is that we can provide you with a dedicated box of patterns that will catch you fish, just tell us where you are going, what you will be fishing for and when, we will then prepare a range of patterns recommended by the local guide in three sizes that will catch, along with a guide on how to fish them. Then its up to you to make the most of them
